...a new project in Athens! My Greek roots have already brought me to Greece from 2023-2024 and have taken my heart by storm. Germany is the place where I found myself and my family and subsequently founded this wonderful day care center.
Now I am in a new phase of my life that takes me back to my roots and gives me the courage to completely rediscover myself in Greece.
I'm really looking forward to this exciting new challenge!
Our Philosophy
We attach great importance to a trusting relationship and the creation of a positive and supportive environment for each individual child.
Curiosity, creativity and independence should be strengthened as the children interact with each other through free play.
Early Musical Education
We want to offer every child the opportunity to get excited about music and the creativity it brings at an early age. We have a unique musician who visits us weekly with his guitar and takes the children on a musical journey.
Playing - Learning - Feeling good
Free play, the opportunity to develop and simply be a child.
We want to create a safe and trusting environment for the children in which they feel seen and heard.
Discovering the world together...
Getting out and about is very important to us. In Riehl, Flora, the zoo and the market are in the immediate vicinity and we like to take advantage of this regularly.
Occasionally, we take short trips to nearby playgrounds in other districts to create a little variety.
Journey through the culinary world...
We cook fresh every day and incorporate many influences from our food culture. Occasionally we go shopping together, take the children to the market with us to buy fresh fish or vegetables.
Before lunch, we have a little ritual together in which we wish each other a good appetite in a playful way and give the children a feeling of togetherness.
Our Celebrations
Three times a year we have special celebrations (summer party, lantern making and our Christmas party) where all parents and children come together, exchange ideas, have fun and get a little insight into what we experience here every day.
About Us
The childcare team at Flora consists of 3 women with a common passion - children. We all have children of our own and love having turned our vocation into a profession.
